Bear Hunting Magazine has given the Backwoods Boys' latest black bear hunting DVD the highest rating they give in Bear Hunting video reviews. The May/June edition of Bear Hunting magazine includes a glowing review of Bears In the Backwoods 2, giving it a 4 paw rating.

Team Backwoods has become addicted to bear hunting so they made another bear hunting DVD for us, and it is even better than the first one. They hunted from Newfoundland to Saskatchewan with stops in Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba, putting 13 hunts on film. Team Backwoods slogan is Reality Hunting Videos and that is what you get. It is not just a bunch of hunts, getting as many kills as possible on a DVD, they give you more. They talk with the outfitters and give us information about what they have to offer as well as what has worked for them to be successful in their area. These guys are out to promote hunting, getting anyone and everyone interested in the great outdoors. To do this they show the fun and excitement of hunting as it unfolds and even sitting in a stand for an evening after the hunting is over just to watch more bears. The 13 hunts are a variety of bow, shotgun and crossbow hunts in five provinces with several different hunters. This 1 1/2 hour DVD also has bonus footage as they talk with a taxidermist to get tips on skinning a bear and show how using a bear vocalization call can help hunters coax a wary bear into view. If you are looking to get pumped up for your upcoming hunt or need some new hunts to watch because you are sitting this year out, then you might want to get Bears in the Backwoods 2. Team Backwoods is not out to make a fortune selling DVDs, they want to promote hunting, so they keep the price under 10 bucks. If you liked their first bear video, Bears in the Backwoods, then you will not want to miss this one. This is a great video with great footage quality and it is fun to watch, we give it 4 paws.
