From the Backwoods to the Bushveld

We spend a lot of time in the Backwoods - hunting those oak flats, funnels, and choke points, high in the hardwoods. We also spend a lot of
time hunting the Canadian bush - chasing moose or black bear up north. We love it. We understand it. We know what to expect. But what
happens when you take a Backwoods Boy out of his environment and put him in a whole new setting? Not much out of the ordinary really.
This summer, Dan and Karl had the opportunity to hunt plains game animals with Koringkoppie Outfitters in the Limpopo Province of
South Africa. It was the first time for either of them. The environment was completely different, but the result the same - animals hitting
the ground right and left.
Koringkoppie Outfitters is a family-run operation, and you won't find a finer family in all the world. Frans and Nella Kombrinck run an
